ANOINTING OF THE SICK
"Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord".
James 5:14
The Anointing of the Sick, formerly known as Extreme Unction, sometimes referred to as The Last Rites, is a sacrament of healing: physically; emotionally; mentally; and most importantly a spiritual healing of the soul. This is given to those who are ill or who have reached old age or who needs the Lord’s healing strength.
