In our parish, parishioners are involved in many of the following ministries.  Can you help?

LITURGY AND PRAYER LIFE

  • Ministry of the Word: reading at weekend and weekday Liturgies.
  • Leader: Liturgy of the Word: Officiating at Liturgies in the absence of a Priest
  • Minister of Communion : assisting at Liturgy of the Word and in the distribution of Communion at Mass.
  • St Jarlath’s prayer group meets fortnightly. Everyone is welcome.

PARISH LIFE AND ORGANISATION

  • Parish Finance Committee
  • Parish Pastoral Council
  • Liturgy Team
  • Fund Raising for improvements to our church buildings

PASTORAL CARE

  • St Vincent de Paul Society
  • Mini Vinnies
  • Andrews House Visitation
  • Home visitation with Communion
     

SOCIAL

  • Passionist Family Group
  • Community gatherings
  • Morning tea group
  • ‘Cuppa’: At St John’s every fortnight after the Saturday evening Mass 
                  At St Jarlath’s after each Sunday morning Mass.
