Warmest congratulations to our inspiring, esteemed parishioner Thelma on her remarkable birthday milestone celebrated with her extended family recently.

Thelma came to Trafalgar in 1957 with her husband Bill and three young children. She boasts nine grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren so far. A passionate and involved parishioner for all of that time!  Thank you Thelma!

Good Friday was commemorated with a very solemn refection on the Gospel of John.  Parishioners took the roles of Judas, Peter, Pilate, Rachel, Miriam and Mary of Magdala removing  coloured sashes to reveal the Cross of Calvary.

On Wednesday 29th March some of our young parishioners made their first Reconciliation at a Parish Reconciliation service at St John’s.  CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!

On Sunday 26th March we welcomed Indi Mae to our parish through the Sacrament of Baptism.

On Wednesday 22nd March we had an Anointing Mass followed by a light lunch in the Parish Centre.  This event was supported by the fabulous Mini Vinnies team from St Joseph’s.

Recently Glenda and Lucy enjoyed a fabulous visit to the Mary MacKillop Heritage Centre in East Melbourne.  Ted and Sr Rita made them very welcome as they carried on the legacy of Mary MacKillop.
